Giallo Atlantide: the complete guide
Giallo Atlantide is a marble in warm yellow tones, capable of bringing light and warmth to interiors. It is chosen for floors and cladding with a sunny character and for bespoke pieces.
History and origin
It is a marble of limited availability, quarried in small to medium-sized blocks, and for this reason it is one of Marmi di Carrara's exclusive materials. Yellow marbles have a long tradition in architectural decoration, from inlays to patterned floors. Today Giallo Atlantide is used both in a classic key and in contemporary projects. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is yellow, with shades ranging from straw to ochre. Lighter or darker veins and patches add movement to the surface, with limited variation between slabs. Polished intensifies the colour, while brushed, sandblasted or bush-hammered finishes make it softer and more textured.

Recommended uses
Suitable for interior floors and cladding, bathrooms, washbasins, bathtubs, fireplaces, stairs, tables and inlays, also in lightweight panels. Not recommended for exteriors or kitchen surfaces exposed to acids.
Care and maintenance
Neutral marble detergents, without acids or limescale removers. Protect with an impregnator after installation, especially in bathrooms. Polished surfaces can be revived with professional polishing treatments.
