Baltic Green Granite: the complete guide

History and origin

It is an imported granite, found on the international market alongside other Nordic-looking granites. Its large-crystal structure is in some ways reminiscent of Baltic Brown, with a green shade instead of brown. It is used both in residential construction and in exterior cladding. Look and veining

The background is forest green or dark olive green, with green feldspar crystals and black minerals irregularly distributed. The intensity of the green can vary between batches. Polished, it reveals the depth of the crystals and almost emerald tones; honed or brushed, it looks darker and more uniform.

Recommended uses

Recommended for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors, stairs and exterior cladding. The dark tone hides signs of wear well, but on polished surfaces it shows dust and limescale marks.

Care and maintenance

Clean with a neutral detergent and dry polished surfaces to avoid smears. It does not require frequent treatments, but a protector helps in cooking areas.
