Bianco Danba: complete guide

History and origin

It comes from China and is one of the Chinese white marbles available on the international market. It is used mainly for cladding, bathrooms and floors where a clean white is wanted. It is often considered an alternative to other, more expensive crystalline whites. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Look and veining

The background is white, with a visible crystalline grain that sparkles slightly in the light. Grey shading or fine veins may appear. Variation between slabs is moderate; polishing accentuates the brightness, honing gives a more matt white.

Recommended uses

Recommended for bathrooms, cladding, floors, interior stairs and furnishings. In the kitchen it is possible only if you accept marks and dullness over time. For exteriors exposed to frost it should be assessed case by case.

Care and maintenance

Clean with neutral products and dry wet areas. Apply a stain-repellent protector, important on such a light background. Avoid undiluted bleach and limescale removers.
