Bianco Lasa marble: the complete guide
Bianco Lasa is a white marble from South Tyrol, pure and crystalline, known for its purity and durability. It also comes in the Vena Oro variety, with fine golden veins.
History and origin
It is quarried in the mountains above Lasa (Laas), in the Val Venosta, at high altitude: an ancient quarrying tradition that has supplied marble for monuments and buildings in Italy and Central Europe. Its compact crystalline structure also makes it suitable for outdoor use. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request as blocks, slabs and custom work.
Look and veining
A very pure white background with a fine crystalline grain that gives the surface a slight sparkle. Veins are rare and delicate: light grey in the classic grade, golden in the Vena Oro variety. It is a bright, uniform white, suited to those looking for continuity.

Care and maintenance
Neutral detergents and water; avoid acids and descalers. Outdoors, a water-repellent limits dirt and moss; indoors, a stain-proof sealer protects the most used surfaces. Maintain polished surfaces with soft cloths and no waxy products.
