It is quarried in the Milas area, in the province of Muğla, a part of south-western Turkey with numerous quarries of white and veined marbles. The trade name evokes the urban feel of its pattern. A white or light grey background crossed by grey and dark grey veins, often parallel or zigzagging. The density of the veining changes between slabs and can be enhanced with cross-cut or book-matched layouts. Polished, it offers strong contrast; honed, a softer, more modern look.
