History and origin
It is one of the white granites produced in Spain, valued for their brightness and strength. Materials of this kind have long been used for kitchens, floors and street furniture. It is sold as slabs and in standard formats. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is white, slightly grey in places, with quartz and feldspar crystals and clearly separated black mica specks. The speckled pattern is regular, with small differences between blocks in the number of dark specks. Polished, it looks lively and clean; flamed, the white becomes matt and more uniform.

Recommended uses
It is suitable for kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, floors, stairs and cladding, including outdoors. Unlike white marbles it is unaffected by lemon and vinegar, making it more practical in the kitchen. Anyone looking for a veined white without speckling should consider other materials.
Care and maintenance
Simple maintenance with water and a neutral detergent. Treat worktops with a stain-proofing protector, to be renewed periodically. Wipe up coffee, wine and oil immediately to avoid marks on the light background.

Blanco Cristal or white marble in the kitchen?
Blanco Cristal is harder and acid-resistant, so it is more practical; white marble has a veined look but is more delicate.
Are the black specks all the same?
The speckling is regular but may vary slightly in density between blocks: that is why we recommend choosing the slabs from photos.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, with a flamed or bush-hammered finish for floors and steps; it is frost-resistant.
