History and origin
The name recalls Cáceres, a province of Extremadura known for its abundance of granite, which was also widely used in the area's historic architecture. Blanco Cáceres is used for paving, cladding and street furniture. It is available on the market as slabs, tiles and blocks. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
Black mica crystals and grey quartz grains are spread across a white-grey background. The grain is medium-fine and the overall appearance homogeneous, with modest differences in tone between slabs. Polished, it looks cooler and more contrasted; flamed, it takes on a warm, matt white.

Recommended uses
Recommended for floors, stairs, façades, thresholds and pedestrian paving, as well as kitchen and bathroom worktops. Its light colour makes it suitable for sunny outdoor spaces. In the kitchen a protector helps prevent dark oil marks.
Care and maintenance
Neutral detergent and water for routine cleaning. A water- and oil-repellent is useful on worktops and outdoor floors. For encrustations outdoors, products specifically designed for granite can be used, avoiding repeated use of strong acids.

Yes, with a flamed or bush-hammered finish it is non-slip and frost-resistant.
How does it differ from the grey granites of Extremadura?
Blanco Cáceres has a lighter background; granites such as Gris Quintana are greyer and darker.
Does it get very hot in the sun?
Being light-coloured, it absorbs less heat than dark stones: it is a good choice for terraces and pool surrounds.
