History and origin
Spain is one of Europe's leading producers of light granites, intended for both building and furnishing. Blanco Perla is part of this offering and is used for floors, cladding, stairs and tops. The trade name describes its delicate colour. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is a pearly white-grey with black mica and grey quartz crystals, densely distributed. The pattern is regular and suited to large surfaces, with small differences in tone between blocks. Honed, it is soft and uniform; flamed, it becomes almost white; polished, more contrasted.

It is suitable for floors, stairs, façade cladding, street furniture, kitchen worktops and bathrooms. Outdoors it is suitable with non-slip finishes. Those looking for a pure white should bear in mind that the grey speckling always remains visible.
Care and maintenance
Clean with a neutral detergent; in the kitchen and outdoors apply a water- and oil-repellent protector. Remove coffee, wine and oil stains promptly. Avoid products containing hydrofluoric acid or concentrated bleach.

Are Blanco Perla and Blanco Extremadura similar?
Both are light Spanish granites and can look alike; grain and shade vary from quarry to quarry, however, so it is better to compare samples.

Yes, it pairs well with white or light doors; it should be protected with a stain-proofing product and cleaned immediately in case of oil splashes.
Is it frost-resistant?
Yes, like granites in general it is suitable for cold climates, for outdoor floors and stairs with a rough finish.
