Crocodile Green: the complete guide
Crocodile Green is a green stone with a lively pattern reminiscent of reptile scales. It is chosen for surfaces with a strong personality, such as feature walls and furnishings.
History and origin
It is an imported material known by this trade name, found on the international market among decorative green stones. Like other commercial greens it may have a serpentine composition, to be checked on the batch data sheets. Marmi di Carrara has handled it in blocks and slabs and supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The green background is broken up by light and dark veins that trace a scale-like texture. The pattern is highly variable and each slab has a character of its own. Polishing enhances the contrast; honing makes the whole softer.
