Fior di Pesco Carnico is a marble from Friuli in violet-grey and pink tones with white veins. Its poetic name recalls the colours of peach blossom.
History and origin
It is quarried in the Carnic Alps, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the same area as Grigio Carnico. It is a traditional marble used in floors, altars and cladding. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
A grey background with violet and pink shades, crossed by white veins and sometimes brecciated areas. The effect is delicate and refined.
