History and origin
It comes from Brazil, where it is sold as Amarelo São Francisco. It is part of the vast range of Brazilian yellow granites exported worldwide. It is valued for kitchen worktops, stairs and paving. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The yellow background is speckled with dark crystals and light grains, with a medium grain. The distribution of the crystals is fairly regular, but the tone can vary between batches. Polishing enhances the contrast between yellow and black; rough finishes soften it.
