History and origin
Ukraine is among the European countries with the largest granite reserves, quarried mainly in the central regions. Ukrainian grey granites are exported for roadworks, floors, cladding and monuments. They are practical materials, chosen for their balance of quality and resistance. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The grey background shows a medium grain with light and dark crystals well mixed. The pattern is uniform, suited to extensive surfaces, with slight variations in tone. The flamed finish lightens it; polishing makes it deeper and more contrasted.

Recommended uses
Recommended for urban paving, kerbs, stairs, façades, floors and kitchen worktops. It is also suitable for vehicle surfaces if correctly sized. For prestige settings it can be combined with more decorative stones.
Care and maintenance
Water and a neutral detergent; a water repellent outdoors and a stain-proofing product on tops. For stubborn dirt, alkaline detergents made for granite can be used.

Is it suitable for road paving?
Yes, as setts, kerbs or slabs of adequate thickness; grey granites are a classic choice for these uses.

Yes, it is often used as a neutral base alongside black or red granites for geometric patterns.
