Gris Zarza Granite: complete guide
Gris Zarza is a grey Spanish granite with a regular appearance. It is chosen for paving, stairs and cladding that call for restraint and resistance.
History and origin
It belongs to the family of Spanish grey granites, widely used in Europe for public works, street furniture and residential construction. It is sold in slabs, tiles and worked pieces such as kerbs and steps. Its neutral shade makes it easy to incorporate into different projects. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The medium grey background is formed by light and dark crystals in a medium grain, evenly distributed. The pattern is consistent and lends itself to large surfaces, with slight variations in tone between lots. Flaming lightens it and makes it uniform; polishing darkens its tone and increases the contrast.
