History and origin
It comes from Brazil and is sold under a Portuguese name referring to its grey colour. It is one of the general-purpose grey granites valued for cladding and paving. It is used in both residential construction and public works. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is grey, with light and dark crystals and a regular grain. The pattern is uniform, with small differences in tone between batches. Polishing gives a deeper grey, rough finishes a light, matt grey.
