History and origin
It is an imported granite available on the international market, whose name recalls the jacaranda tree and its purple hues. It belongs to the family of coloured granites used for worktops, floors and cladding. Origin and appearance may vary depending on the batches available. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is brown with purplish highlights, enriched by lighter crystals and dark minerals. The pattern can be granular or slightly wavy, with variations in tone between blocks. Polishing enhances the purplish hues; matt finishes tone them down towards brown.
