History and origin
It comes from Brazil and belongs to the Juparana group, veined granites of metamorphic origin. The name refers to its light tones and restrained movement compared with other, more contrasting varieties. It is used mainly for residential worktops, floors and cladding. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The light beige background shows wavy grey and slightly pinkish veins, with scattered dark grains. Differences between slabs mainly concern the intensity of the waves and some more strongly coloured areas. Polished, it looks bright and silky; honed, it takes on an almost pastel appearance.

Recommended uses
Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, floors and stairs. For exteriors a rough finish and a protective treatment are preferable, because dirt is more noticeable on light tones.
Care and maintenance
Given its light colour, it is advisable to treat it with a good oil-repellent and to wipe up spills of oil, coffee or wine quickly. Neutral detergents are sufficient for cleaning.

Honed offers an elegant look and is less slippery than polished; polished is glossier and easier to clean.
