History and origin
The name recalls Kaman, a locality in central Anatolia, an area from which pinkish granites are exported from Turkey. Turkey, a major marble producer, has also developed granite quarrying in recent decades. Kaman Rose is used in construction, street furniture and paving. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is pink, with pinkish feldspar crystals that are often large, grey quartz and dark minerals. The pattern is granular, with possible differences in crystal size and pink intensity between blocks. Polishing enhances the crystals and the colour; flamed finishes lighten it towards a pinkish grey.

Clean with water and a neutral detergent. On kitchen worktops, a stain-proofing impregnating sealer helps against oil and grease. Outdoors periodic washing is enough.
