Altintas Travertine: the complete guide

Altintas Travertine is a light beige Turkish travertine, versatile and bright. It is chosen for indoor and outdoor floors and cladding with a Mediterranean feel.

History and origin

It comes from Turkey, one of the world's largest producers of travertine; the name recalls the Altıntaş area in Anatolia. Turkish travertines are widespread on the international market for floors and swimming pools. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Look and veining

The background is light beige with the veins and cavities typical of travertine. Vein cut and cross cut give a linear or clouded look respectively. Honed and filled, it is elegant; tumbled, it has an antiqued effect.
