History and origin
It is one of the coloured granites quarried in Ukraine and sold in Europe. Reddish-brown varieties are traditionally used for cladding, monuments, paving and street furniture. The trade name highlights the material's warm palette. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background alternates reddish and brown tones, with dark quartz and small black minerals. The pattern is granular and fairly lively, with differences in shade between slabs. Polished, it looks rich and warm; brushed or flamed, softer and more natural.

Recommended uses
Suitable for kitchen worktops, thresholds, window sills, stairs, cladding and headstones. Outdoors it withstands bad weather and frost. Next to colours that are already very warm it can look heavy: it is best balanced with neutral tones.
Care and maintenance
Neutral detergent and a soft cloth; a stain-proofing protector on tops. Avoid aggressive limescale removers, which dull the polish over time.
Pairings
- Lime-white walls and light wood
- Copper and burnished iron
- Grey stone to balance the warm tones
FAQ
What kind of interior does it suit best?
Rustic or classic settings with warm woods and metals, but also modern white kitchens as a colour element.
Is it suitable for outdoor thresholds and window sills?
Yes, it is compact and frost-resistant; it is often used in a polished or honed finish with a drip groove.
How does it differ from Flower of the Ukraine?
