Crema Luna: complete guide
Crema Luna is a commercial marble with a very light cream background, almost ivory. It is chosen to brighten rooms with a delicate, lightly veined stone.
History and origin
It is an imported material offered on the international market within the range of cream marbles. Like many stones in this family, it is generally a compact, polishable limestone. Origin and characteristics should be checked each time on the lot. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is light cream with soft shading and sparse veins, sometimes barely perceptible. There may be differences in tone between slabs, from almost white to a warmer cream. Polished, it looks bright and clean; honed, it takes on a matt, soft appearance.

Recommended uses
Suitable for interior floors, cladding, bathrooms and stairs. It should be avoided in heavily used kitchens and outdoors in areas subject to frost. It lends itself well to bespoke work such as thresholds, interior window sills and shelves.
Care and maintenance
Neutral detergents, a soft cloth and immediate wiping of spills. The light background makes a stain-proofing impregnator, renewed periodically, worthwhile. Avoid acid-based products or concentrated chlorine.
Pairings
- Light maple or birch

FAQ
Is it suitable for small spaces?
Yes, its light tone and discreet pattern help to make rooms feel larger.
Can it be used in the kitchen?
Only with awareness: acids dull it and coloured liquids can stain it. For working tops, granites or quartzites are more suitable.
Are all the slabs the same?
No, there may be differences in tone between lots: for a consistent result it is best to order everything together.
How do I order it?
On request: tell us about your project and we will send you a quote and photos of the available slabs.
