Juparana Champagne Granite: complete guide

Juparana Champagne is a Brazilian granite in champagne tones, with grey veins and golden highlights. It is a refined choice for those looking for a material that is light and warm at the same time.

History and origin

It comes from Brazil and belongs to the commercial Juparana family, veined granites of metamorphic origin. The name, sometimes written in the Portuguese form Champanhe, describes the colour of the background. It is used for worktops, floors and cladding in residential and commercial settings. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Look and veining

The champagne-coloured background is crossed by grey and golden waves, with dark grains and sometimes small garnets. Slabs may differ in colour intensity and vein width. Polishing gives brightness and warm highlights; brushing creates an effect that is soft to the touch.

Recommended uses

It lends itself to kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and cladding. It can be used outdoors with rough finishes, bearing in mind that dirt is more visible on light tones.
