Juparana Gold Granite: complete guide

Juparana Gold is a veined granite in golden yellow tones, with clearly visible waves of colour. It brings warmth to spaces while retaining the resistance typical of granites.

History and origin

It is an imported granite available on the international market within the Juparana group, veined materials of metamorphic origin. The name describes the golden dominant of the background. As with other trade names, the origin should be checked on the available batch. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Look and veining

The golden yellow background shows lighter and darker wavy veins, with grey and black crystals. The colour can shift towards ochre or straw yellow from slab to slab. Polishing intensifies the golden tones; matt finishes make them softer and more natural.

Care and maintenance

Clean with a neutral detergent and apply stain protection periodically. Avoid leaving wet metal objects on the surface for long, as they could leave rust marks.

Pairings

  • white walls to make the yellow stand out

FAQ

Is Juparana Gold always the same tone?

No, the yellow varies between batches and slabs: for a unified project it is advisable to choose slabs from the same block.

Is it resistant enough for a worktop?

Yes, it resists scratches, heat and food acids well, with the usual stain protection.

Why are some slabs resin-treated?

Resin treatment consolidates the natural micro-fissures common in yellow granites and improves the quality of the polish.
