History and origin
It is one of the pink granites quarried in Finland, a country where natural stone is a long-established industry. Materials of this type are exported throughout Europe for cladding, paving and memorial work. Its pinkish tone sets it apart from the grey and black granites more common in the north. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background has pink tones verging on salmon, with grey quartz and dark patches of biotite. The distribution of the crystals is fairly regular, with colour variations from one lot to another. Polished, it looks lively; bush-hammered, it becomes a light, matt pink.

FAQ
How does it differ from Maaninka Pink?
Both are Finnish pink granites, but shade and grain differ: a direct comparison of samples is the best way to choose.
