History and origin
Galicia is also known for its pinkish granites, long used in architecture and street furniture. Rosavel belongs to this family and is widely available on the international market as slabs and flooring formats. It is used both indoors and outdoors. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is light pink, from the feldspar crystals, with grey quartz and black mica specks. The grain is clearly visible and slabs may differ slightly in the intensity of the pink. Polishing brings the colour to life; flamed, it looks pale pink, almost beige.
