Rosso Alicante is a brick-red Spanish marble with white and grey veins. Bold and warm, it is ideal for patterned floors and details.
History and origin
It is quarried in the province of Alicante, in south-eastern Spain. It is one of the most widespread red marbles in the world, used in floors, cladding and decoration. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
A brick-red or dark orange background with white calcite veins and lighter or brecciated areas. Polished it has vivid colours.
