History and origin
It is an imported marble widely available on the international market, belonging to the family of striped marbles, characterised by parallel veins due to the original layering of the rock. This type of marble lends itself to different cuts that radically change its final appearance. Architects and designers often choose it for extensive, continuous surfaces. Look and veining
The background alternates white, light grey and dark grey bands running in straight lines. Cross-cut it looks more clouded, vein-cut it brings out the stripes. The intensity of the stripes varies between blocks; honed enhances the graphic effect, polished adds depth.
