Santa Cecilia Granite: complete guide

Santa Cecilia is a golden beige Brazilian granite speckled with burgundy garnets and dark crystals. It is one of the most widely used granites for kitchen worktops thanks to its warm colour and resistance.

History and origin

It comes from Brazil and is widely available on the international market, particularly for kitchen and bathroom tops. It is available in several commercial variants, lighter or darker. Its popularity stems from the balance between its warm appearance and practicality. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Look and veining

The golden beige background hosts grey and brown patches, black crystals and the characteristic dark red dots of the garnets. The pattern is moderately lively and varies between batches in the intensity of the yellow and the density of the patches. Polishing enhances the contrasts; honing gives a more uniform, matt effect.
