History and origin
It comes from Burgundy, a French region with an exceptionally rich tradition of building limestones. It is a compact oolitic limestone, formed from small cemented spherical grains, which give it a homogeneous texture. It is used in construction and furnishings both in France and abroad. Look and veining
The background is light beige, uniform, with a fine grain and occasional small fossils or specks. The slabs are fairly regular, with slight variations in tone. Honed, it looks soft and matt, while antiqued or brushed finishes accentuate its character.
