Bianco Drama: complete guide
Bianco Drama is a compact, fine-grained Greek white marble, valued for its brightness. It is one of the most popular solutions when a clean white with minimal veining is needed.
History and origin
It comes from the Drama area in Eastern Macedonia, one of the main Greek districts for dolomitic white marble. Drama whites have long been exported to the international market, mainly for floors, cladding and bathroom furnishings. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is a uniform white, with a few faint grey veins or shading in some lots. The fine grain gives it a homogeneous, compact appearance, with limited variability between slabs. Polished, it has a brilliant white; honed or brushed, it becomes warmer and softer to the touch.

Care and maintenance

FAQ
Bianco Drama or Thassos: what is the difference?
Both are dolomitic Greek whites; Thassos is generally more crystalline and pure white, while Bianco Drama has a finer grain and a white that is sometimes slightly greyer, often at a more affordable price.
Is it suitable for exterior cladding?
Yes, in temperate climates it is used for façades and paving; where frost is frequent it is best to assess thicknesses and finishes with our technical department.
Does it stain easily?
White shows coffee, oil and wine stains: with an impregnating sealer and prompt cleaning the problem is greatly reduced.
