History and origin
It is a granite quarried in Brazil and sold internationally for a number of years. It owes its popularity to its combination of affordable price, resistance and a granular pattern that camouflages crumbs and small marks. It is widely used in residential kitchens and bathrooms. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is grey-beige with dark, grey and burgundy crystals distributed fairly densely and evenly. Variation between slabs is moderate and concerns mainly the density of the dark flecks. Polished, it is bright and contrasted; honed, it appears softer.
