History and origin
It belongs to the large family of Brazilian yellow granites, exported worldwide for kitchens, bathrooms and floors. The Portuguese name Amarelo means yellow. The shade depends on the degree of natural alteration of the minerals, which gives the golden colour. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is golden yellow with grey and black crystals and small reddish flecks, in a medium, fairly uniform grain. Between slabs the yellow can be lighter or more orange. Polished, it looks vivid; flamed or brushed, it becomes lighter and matt.

Recommended uses
Excellent for kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, floors, stairs and thresholds. Also suitable outdoors with non-slip finishes. Some slabs of yellow granite are resin-treated at the factory to consolidate the surface.
Care and maintenance
Clean with a neutral detergent. Yellow granites can be slightly more absorbent: a stain-proofing impregnator is recommended, especially in the kitchen. Renew the treatment periodically.
