History and origin
It is among the most widespread light Chinese granites in outdoor paving and cladding projects. Its numerical code identifies it within the commercial system of Chinese granites. Its fine grain and neutral colour make it suitable for both modern and traditional settings. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is white or pearl grey with tiny grey and black specks distributed regularly. Variability between slabs is low. Flamed, it looks almost white, while polished or honed it appears a little greyer and more compact.

Recommended uses
Widely used for squares, pavements, pool surrounds, steps, façades and window sills. Indoors it lends itself to floors, cladding and worktops with a minimalist feel.
Care and maintenance
Being light, outdoors it may show dirt and marks: a water- and oil-repellent impregnating sealer and periodic washing preserve its colour. Indoors a neutral detergent is enough.

FAQ
Is G655 suitable for pool surrounds?
Yes, with a flamed or bush-hammered finish it offers good grip and stays relatively cool in the sun thanks to its light colour.
Does it get dirty easily?
Like all light stones it shows dirt more; a protective treatment and regular cleaning solve the problem.
What is the difference from G603?
G655 has a finer grain and a whiter, more uniform colour, G603 a more marked salt-and-pepper look.
