History and origin

Green onyxes are imported materials widely available on the international market and have long been valued in luxury furnishings. They form through the slow deposition of carbonates from mineralised waters, which gives rise to layers and bands of colour. The origin may vary according to the batch and supplier. Look and veining

The background is light green, almost mint-like in places, with white or deeper green bands and clouds. Translucency and nuances vary greatly between slabs of the same batch. Polished, it shows an almost glassy depth; backlit, it diffuses a cool, even light.

Recommended for decorative walls, backlit panels, sculpted washbasins, bar tops and furnishing accessories. To be avoided on high-traffic floors, in working kitchens and outdoors.

Care and maintenance

Use only neutral detergents and dry wet surfaces. Avoid anti-limescale products, bleach and abrasive products, which damage the polish.
