It belongs to the red stones of the Veneto, a family of limestones used for centuries in the region's architecture for floors, portals and decoration. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Look and veining
A dark red background tending to wine red, with slight spots and veins. Compared with Rosso Verona it is more uniform and intense.

Care and maintenance
Neutral detergents and water for routine cleaning; no acids or aggressive de-icing salts. Outdoors a water-repellent limits dirt, moss and absorption; indoors a stain-proof sealer protects tops and floors. The surface can be re-honed over time.
