History and origin
White onyxes are among the most sought-after in luxury interiors because they combine the brightness of white with the depth typical of onyx. On the market they come mainly from the Middle East and Central Asia, but the origin varies depending on the batch. Marmi di Carrara has handled it in blocks and slabs and supplies it on request.
Look and veining
The background is milky white, with thin bands and light grey or ivory veils. Even in the purest varieties each slab shows small differences in tone and transparency. Polished, it has a glassy appearance; with light behind it, it becomes evenly luminous.

Being white, it should be protected from coffee, wine and cosmetic stains with a specific treatment. Clean with neutral products, never with limescale removers or bleach.
